Martyn Chorlton's DAnger Area is well worth a read. I only get to see these palces once a year so next year I will hopefully be armed with the site record plan. I would think a winter visit would yield more detail.

Freddie Mills a famous and successful British boxer served at South Withingham during WW2.

Here's an archive photo of him (on the left) being matched against Cpl Billy Conn (right) of the US Army Air Service Command. The Commander of U.S. Coastguards (center) is none other than Jack Dempsey the famous US boxer.
