Hello

Having had a quick look at the fellow members here, was glad to see other HAGs (Huntingdonshire avation group ) in here.
Good to see so many people on the site sharing the same interest.
I've been "into" airfields in a big way since 1992. Mainly airfields built for use during the war for the RAF and USAAF
( probably everything then :D ).
I've had a long time love for Thorpe Abbotts, Bungay and Horham. Buts thats not to say I don't find Eye/Brome, Mendelsham, Seething, polebrook, Warboys,Upwood, Kimbolton etc etc fantastic airfields ether.
The photos on this site are great to see. Gives me a buzz on the days I can't make it out to the airfields.

By the looks of things you must be fairly local to me, Thorpe Abbotts is 3 miles to the north of me and Horham is 2 miles to the south, Eye is about 5 miles to the west of me as well!

Thorpe Abbotts is a great place, wonderful museum there as well. I have just joined the 95th BG at Horham, Red Feather Club - this is also a must for anyone in the area.
