Only recently became aware of this site after meeting Richard and others at RAF Upwood.
I have always been interested in abandoned buildings, but only became aware of and interested in airfields after I went to play airsoft at Upwood several years ago (Yes, I am one of them! :oops: ).
Have seen a lot of changes to the site over the years due to neglect and criminal arson, theft and vandalism, also alterations made by the airsoft people and unsympathetic removal of metals by the site owners. Therefore it was good to have a really good look around the site and the opportunity to take photos on the last 2 Sundays.
Anyway, hello to all and hope to be able to contribute to a great forum!
