Derbyshire, Palterton Halifax crash memorial.

Here's a relatively unknown memorial on a small road running between the Derbyshire villages of Palterton and Scarcliffe. Commemorates the loss of three crew members when a Halifax from RAF Dishforth crashed at this location.

Unavoidably shooting into a low sun unfortunately so not the greatest quality.

A nice memorial Noel, a fitting tribute to those that perished.
The sun is always a problem this time of year, though winters a good time to go ' Airfielding ' as the undergrowth has died back exposing stuff that's normally hidden.
