Hello all, my name is Ted
I've been introduced to the forum by Richard who I contacted a few days ago after visiting his website, I was interested in his photo's of RAF Beccles especially the control tower, in 1948 until the mid 50s we lived in the Nissen huts on the outskirts of the airfield and the control tower and all the other buildings was our playground, over the next few days I will write down a few memories and post them, I still live on the outskirts of the airfield (not still in the Nissen huts) in fact from my bedroom window I look onto the field where the Nissen huts were.
