Hi all, I'm Clive Morley and live in South Devon. Very glad to have found this site after being shown a link by a friend on another forum. From what I've read so far there's some fascinating information stored here!

Along with a small group I make 3D computer models of ww2 airfields for Microsofts' Combat flight-simulator 3. This isn't as anoraky as it sounds, honest! :oops: It's actually a good way of piecing together information from books/webpages/forums etc in an effort to get an idea of what these airfields looked like.

As an example this is a work in progress screenshot of Kirton-in-Lindsey.

Hi Clive and welcome- guess I'm not far away from you(Torbay area)..

I like your scenery - I used to do UK/USAFE Cold war fields for FS9 so know just how much hard work goes into producing a good addon.

Haven't done any now for three years ..but this is a pic of my first ever effort back in 2004 - Upper Heyford/EGUA.(sorry about the poor resolution -loosing it in the image conversion somehow).

Hi Dave,

I'm in Chudleigh Knighton, so not too far from you. Nice to see some local content on these forums, so much to read through! :D

I was very pleased to see some other modellers here, in fact I think I have an Upper Heyford model for fs9, probably be yours then! Will take another look. :)

Brings back memories of watching the F111's there in the '70's. :)
