Memorial dedicated to the units stationed at this Coastal OTU airfield and a roll of honour.

The memorial is outside the builders yard of HC Robinson & Sons Ltd and the owner Rodney Robinson is responsible for both the memorial , dedicated on 14 September 2002 , and the Roll of Honour which was dedicated on 26 July 2003 . Members may remember that back in the 90's Rodney had a vampire T11 , XE856 , which stood on the same spot before moving to Henlow for restoration to flying condition . Last year he acquired one of the original Type A timber huts erected pre-war at Catfoss and that has been rebuilt within the yard and is to bcome a museum . There are a series of airfield defence trenches close by which he has cleaned out and re-bricked and he also made the control tower roof waterproof to stop water ingress . If you are ever passing Catfoss and need any help or directions , and its convenient , Rodney is your man !
