Kindly photographed by my Dad, on a wet Friday afternoon (6 Mar 09)

Located on minor road just south of Anvil Corner. Anvil Corner is about 1.5 miles east of Holsworthy on the A3072. The memorial is tucked away in the base of a hedge against the route of an old, long since removed, railway.

I don't know of any details about this crash other than what appears in the inscription.

My Mum was so emotional she's insisting Dad takes her back so that she can lay some flowers.

So did the bomb aimer survive or was he not on board? And notice the spelling mistake?

I don't know I'm afraid. I'd be very interested to know (as would Mum)......does anyone out there know?

No I didn't notice the spelling. Just looked it up, Li not LY.
