Good morning,
I found this forum quite by accident having "googled" Nobby Pearmund. I know nothing of him but my father in law gave me "Nobby's" flying helmet which dates back to 1942 apparently. All I know is that Nobby and my father in law were good friends and when Nobby died a few years ago, Nobby left him his flying helmet. Can anybody please tell me where I might be bale to find Nobby's RAF career during the war - archives somewhere or something please. From this forum I have already gleaned that he must have been an instructor at RAF Thame at some stage. Can anybody please shed any further light on his time in the RAF?
