Hi. I am new to this forum and I found it when I was looking for information on Stow Maries WW1 airfield. I am interested in anything to do with my home county of Essex.
I am now retired from work so I hope to be able to carry out more research into airfields ect.

Great having you onboard, there are a few folks from Essex on here now and I am not all that far away in North Suffolk. There are alot of great airfields in Essex and quite a bit left at some of them.

Hi im into Essex sites too mainly WW2 but Stow Maries is starting to intrest me a bit. I thought WW1 sites that wernt part of WW2 would be hard to find but sounds like Stow Maries is preserved better than some of the WW2 sites.
