This memorial is in the village of Grand-Champ, 11 km NW of Vannes. It was unveiled on 8-11-1998. It says, Royal Air Force Bomber Command 142 Squadron. In memory of the crew of Wellington BJ768 which fell at Lesranigo on 8 November 1942. Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Pilot; Sgt Ronald Evison. Navigator P/O Douglas Bradshaw. Bomb Aimer Sgt Cyrill Hill. Royal Australian Air Force. Wireless Operator F/Sgt Claude Sautelle. Air Gunner F/Sgt Kenneth Pearce. They were shot down on their second operation, this was by flak from the airfield of Vannes-Meucon
