This new village sign was erected a while ago, but I only got around to photographing it last Sunday 5-4-09.

Haddenham airfield was known locally as RAF Thame for the RAF Glider Pilot Training program opened in 1941. They also designed and model tested some of the prime ministers projects that were never documented.
