excuse my lack of knowledge, but is that the kind of thing that would be housed in a floodlight trailer shed on an RAF base?? I'd always thought it'd of been one of those large diameter items somehow??

All the best,
PB
Not having the archive Paul has, the best I can offer are some screen grabs from the Pathe News web site (will remove if anyone objects). Sorry about the quality but I had to do a full screen grab. Film dates from 11th March 1943 at the start of the "Wings for Victory" campaign.
