Hi Smoggieboy, nice photographs of the two memorials that you've posted. Do you know of any memorial at Atcham? I've been there a few times on my travels but found nothing. I've even written to, and got a reply from Atcham Parish Council. That was about eight years ago , maybe theres some kind of commemorative plaque/window now?? The Parish Council said that there was nothing then and nothing planned for the near future. Eight years on though....

Many thanks for that Smoggieboy, do hope that you can maybe find a memorial or some information about one sometime. I read somewhere that along with Goxhill the Eighth Air Force were at one time losing more aircraft and pilots in training accidents than in combat. As you may have seen theres a nice memorial at Goxhill.
