This is the Red House at Sonning Mill,Reading. Just along from here is the Mill Hotel where the annual christmas dinner is held for the members of Bomber Command, Hendon Museum, of which I am one. Also Dwight D.Eisenhower was hereabouts before D-Day.

Terence Rattigan during the second world war was an Air Gunner with Coastal Command apart from writing plays for the war effort. Later he Co wrote, The Way To The Stars and The Sound Barrier. For more information Google Terence Rattigan.
