Hi there

New to the site my step-brother in law referred me (Hawkeye001). Looking to find out info about RAF Sumburgh, Shetlands from 1941-43 especially airfield info regarding crew of 404 Squadron. By trade am an aerospace engineer but am currently teaching and love spotting at bases and airwhows etc..

There are some rather nice aerial photos on the RCAHMS website of Sumburgh. I think from around 1942 (too lazy to check).
