Hello to old and new friends, some of you may know me as Gingie and to the ones that don't, nice to meet you.

After a hectic few months i'm able to email and get out and about again, also sorry to Noel, Chris, and Simon for not replying to emails or staying in touch however here I am.

My son and I enjoy old airfields and with the owners permission like to walk them and take pictures, anyway enough waffle.

I'll post some pictures and reports on our travels, also I hav'nt forgotten about Alconbury.

Regards

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Good to hear from you! Nice to have you on board - it'll be nice to have your input. We're hoping it'll be a friendly place to share information and research so drop a post or three - I'm sure there'll be someone around to answer questions or if you have anything to offer up, go for it!

Hi Jerry

Great to hear from you, welcome on board. Obviously I've seen your "work" and I'm sure the others on here will appreciate your postings as well. Remember the forums will only grow if we all use them regularly.

Keep in touch mate.

Thanks folks, a few thoughts:

You may have heard about 28dl, a good or bad thing?

Any plans for group visits, Holmpton etc?

A site or an area on here where members can post there home town in order for others to plan visits whilst on holiday?

Is it ok to post reports that have been posted elsewhere?

Just a few ideas.

Hi Jerry

Previously posted stuff is fine, not everyone will have seen it. As you know the only thing we ask is that site visits are "with permission", something I know you always obtain. Given some of the places you have legitimately visited I think they will be well received.
