Nice article from Flight on the delivery of the 60th Thor to the RAF in March 1960, from the Douglas plant at Santa Monica direct to North Luffenham:

In one pic it is shown at N.Luff with an american tractor unit towing the artic trailer. This appears in the Pathe film; The Truck carries a reg plate borrowed from a DP 1 fire tender ?
