RAF Compton Bassett Memorial Plaque

On the old main gate this can be found;

I have had an email from the RAF Yatesbury Assoc saying this plaque was stolen at the beginning of 2009.

In a strange sort of way I can understand why. But if it had been me I'd have returned it after photocopying :-D.
