I've just obtained it from the local library and, on a quick browse through, it looks like a book to recommend. The sub title is "8th Air force ground support in World War Two"
It covers many aspects of airfields of interest to Forum members.

I have just bought the book it makes great reading although i have only browsed at it it covers all aspects of daily life on Eighth airforce airfeilds .
Defantly recomend it .
