Hello Everyone!!
I am JJ's Girl, named after my hero Sgt JJ O'Brien who died in a crash in Yorkshire when his Halifax which flew out of Riccall airfield collided with another Halifax from Rufforth airfield, on the 19th of August 1943.
My interest in the RAF, its history, and its nostalgia is personal and deep rooted. I strongly believe in 'RAF phenomenon' based on first hand experiences, so those who'd like to discuss haunted airfields and such can count me in!
Im an artist and over the years my true love has become RAF artwork and capturing the nostalgia of the past whether it being a Halifax in the sky or the twinkly eyes of a young airman.
While Im 'accross the pond', its nice to know that through this forum I can connect with people who treasure this special and important piece of history!
