AIRFIELD INFORMATION EXCHANGE - AIMS & OBJECTIVES
1) To promote the research of the archaeological resource of the wartime airfields of the UK
2) To promote the conservation of extant buildings, by the transfer and dissemination of information regarding such structures
3) To bring together like-minded individuals and organisations who have an interest in, either in the ownership of, or association with airfield sites
4) To promote the transfer the experiences of serving at such sites
5) To promote the discussion of the not only the extant remains but also the history of such sites and their future
6) To bring together a community of interest which can perhaps, in future, have a voice and say in what happens to the artifacts of a significant part of the Country's (and Commonwealth's) history.
