Old Buckenham village hall memorial plaque. I'm sure that the vinyl tiled floor was also laid out to the 453rd.

Does anyone have any info or photos of the memorial thats apparently near the old guardhouse? Thanks

At 11:00 today, 11/11/2012 the new memorial garden at Old Buckenham was dedicated. The origianl memorial was re-located and the garden designed. Here are a few photos I took this afternoon.

Pat Ramm who was a child growing up in Old Buckenham during the war knew the airfield well. He is an ex marine and took charge of the dedication ceremony today. Here is Pat pictured with the memorial.
