View Full Version : Disused Airfield Sites in South East England
Would someone be able to list disused airfield sites in South East England?
And could someone let me know where I will be able to find out land owners please?
Thanks

There are/have been a lot of airfields in SE England. It would help if you first define "Southeast"....say which counties you are interested in.
Kent, West and East Sussex, Essex and Surrey. I've found some sites but I can't seem to find the info required re: land owners
There is no shortage of sites in varying condition. The area sections on here will give you plenty of clues. Numerous websites (including wikipedia) list airfields and at least two websites have downloadable google earth placemark file. Many old airfields have multiple owners. The easiest way to find out who they are would be to visit the sites and ask locally.
Why do you need a list and the owner details?

I fear that the only sure way of getting a list of the owners of the disused airfield sites in those counties is to do an HM Land Registry search. However the fee payable is £4 per title and as many of the sites are likely to be comprised of more than one title and/or be in more than one ownership, you'll need a pretty deep pocket to ascertain all the relevant information for the five coiunties in which you are interested, Jade!

Jade: Will you pay us commission if we supply information leading to a sale, lease or acquisition?
