I find it very moving when you come across an entire crew, especially when they are commonwealth lads. RCAF crew of a 16 otu Hampden from Upper Heyford crashed near Old Weston 26 March 1942

They actually crashed into that church where their graves are. You may have noticed that the churches spire had been replaced (the stonework is quite a bit brighter and newer looking), and the old spire is standing on the ground where it fell after this Canadian crew hit it in their Hampden on a night excercise.
You can see the spire in your photo about three quarters of the way from the closest to the 2nd closest RCAF gravestones - next to the tree in the background.

Nice work, and yes I can see the spire, amazing story and considering I used to live not that far away it is a little embarrasing I was not aware of it! It is obvious that the graves are well tended and its certainly appreciated by the Canadians I know out here
