This will be a full day on Thurs. 26th Sept. and will visit Upavon Station with an airfield tour and a visit to the Trenchard Museum there and then lunch in the Officers Mess (not inc.) In the afternoon we will drive to Netheravon and see the original 1913 buildings there.

We will arrange a minibus to tour much of the field including the Cotswold Airport area... New ARG visit - a 2 hour guided tour of this important site. We will arrange a minibus to tour much of the field including the Cotswold Airport area on the north/west side. However, as parts of the airfield are in different hands it is not possible to say in advance how much of the hangar area on the south / east side we will be able to access fully, but our guide (as a manager at the airport) will do his best to allow us to see as much as possible. This will be an afternoon visit and there is a restaurant on site for lunch beforehand. High viz. jacket essential.
Cost £10 members and £12 non members to cover the cost of the minibus hire. There is no cost for the tour made by the aiport but they request that participants make a donation to their based charity -
www.fly2help.org. Once the cost of the minibus is covered ARG will also make a donation. 20 places
