Albemarle Barracks, Ouston, one weekend in May, 1994. Brought a Mk9 Lynx up from Dishforth to do some training with Newcastle-based 201 Field Hospital, TA. The hospital was set up inside the remaining hangar.

Good site for info on Northumberland airfields, loads of which I was unaware of.
Just to the east is the first spelling mistake I've ever seen on an OS Map - Albernarle (the correct version Albermarle is found below).

The last picture in post #1 is of the Ouston TACAN beacon which I used to service occasionaly during 1972-1974
