Albemarle Barracks, Ouston, one weekend in May, 1994. Brought a Mk9 Lynx up from Dishforth to do some training with Newcastle-based 201 Field Hospital, TA. The hospital was set up inside the remaining hangar.

If you zoom in on the OS map pane it tells you that you are at Albernarle !

Can't even trust OS these days - a sign of the times .

Just to the east is the first spelling mistake I've ever seen on an OS Map - Albernarle (the correct version Albermarle is found below).
