It is going to be very tough to make this a viable airport in the current economic conditions. Cornwall were "gifted' St Mawgan, but the council needs to subsidise operations there to the tune of just under £5 million per annum. Today have just read that BMI Baby will cease ops. soon. There is a nice little story on For Argyll about a Wren from Machrihanish during WWII and also mentions one of the ranges.
