    Default Dallas Hut

Does anyone have any details of the WWII US "Dallas" prefabricated hut?

The final design of AN/APQ-7 Eagle radar workshops being constructed at certain 8AF bases in 1945 were specified to have been of 20'x48' Dallas Hut construction, the huts to be collected from the Stansted depot. The preliminary design was a 16'x32' Nissen with a 6'x8' power supply room attached to one end.
Both types were to have a 20' high pole alongside one of the longer sides to mount the Eagle scanner unit with a clear half-mile line of sight for testing.

A quick look has revealed a Dallas hut was a pre-fab wooden structure that was assembled in the field
as a 'kit'. Here is a link to a site with a good photo of the huts being deployed. Except cannot seem to find any pics, they seem to have been removed in the middle link

Pretty much all the online references to Dallas hutting come back to those 20'x20' plywood huts, mainly in the post-war period.

I did come across this Tech Manual for a wartime US 20'x48' prefab though:
