I always thought the Belfast has a "Russian" look to it.
The links seem to have broken to my images; having problems today; serves me right for sorting them in Photobucket yesterday.
Tes, the Belfast does have an Antonov look about it.
I think they copied the design for the AN12.

I have just been sort of writing about my life including my time in the RAF.
I am now up to my first tour overseas in RAF Bahrain and I came across this very useful thread which covers a lot of my time there but it is mostly about Hunters in 1963/64 although the Beverley's do get a mention.
I would like to get in touch with the author to thank him for the memory jogging.
