    I can't imagine there is enough hardcore there to make it worthwhile... I'm no expert on the subject though and I could be wrong...

    I have found out now that the tower is not down to be demolished but the owner wanted to clean the area up.

    There is a boundary dispute between two of the land owners at present apparently.

    So it looks like its safe.

    I hope so its a unique control tower & to see it demolished would be a crying shame .

    I didn't have the 1950 photos on my person when I re-visited Wigsley yesterday, so had to go on memory so there as accurate as I could remember at the time.

    I went up on 13/11/13 and took some wonderful pictures, there is what I believe to be a bomb store wall left at wigsley

    Thanks, the Pyro and IB Store appears to be 18185/40 pattern permanent brick so a survivor.

    The 25 yard range remains are here adjacent to the bomb store:

    Ive been up this evening and its all breezeblocked up again and the gate is now shut at the main road.
