Also, the fellow that owns the property has a map like the one shown in Post #19, might be the same one. He said the building in the corner was the CO's quarters and due to be demolished soon.

By building in the corner, do you mean the one in my photos that has the blue boat trailer in front of it?

I wondered if that was the standby set house behind the gymnasium. Return visit needed!!

The angle of my photo is different, but yes I believe that is it. The light colored building in this photo:



And yep, the standby set house is behind the Gym/Chapel. You can just see the top of it in your photo.

Not sure if this is airfield related. Its on the old technical site on Stallard Farm, just down the road from the memorial.

This is post war and not airfield related, it is built on the base of where a T2 Hangar was located.

This is opposite Stallard Farm, again, any ideas as to what it is?

From memory, I'll look it up on the RSP when I dig it out but this I think is/was a borehole pump house

Thanks REF, I wasn't sure about that building, but I thought parts of it had a slight "airfield look" about them! Thought I'd better take a pic of it just in case! Be gutted if I didn't bother with a photo then found out it was genuine!! (As happened with the barn-like standby set house at Glatton!!)
