Can you help with the identification of the F hangar at RAF Abingdon and I am presuming that I am identifying it correctly and its history please.

Yes I know the site well, its very good. We visited Akeman Street and when I got home found all the details on the Oxfordshire website. Wish I had researched better at the time.

i have two questions

1 does anyone know where the Marconi radar was on raf abingdon Ie was it on the airfield or else where ?????

2. has anyone any photos of the airfield lighting at abingdon

I have April 1959 as the opening date for F Hangar, Abingdon.

It was, although heavily modified when I was last on the camp, that was in 2000 though so not sure. I'm not in the military any more so can't come and go as I please now
