Default HIGH WYCOMBE - Daws Hill House

Daws Hill House was an officers billet, obviously within the "Pinetree" grounds, but G.I.'s are G.I.'s whatever rank they were. Actually, there was a small sign above each dormitory bed which said please ring the bell for a mistress to attend. This was told to me by an officer that lived there in WW2 ! To my knowledge there are none left inside, but this notice is right by the main entrance to the present day dormitaries. !!! One has to giggle !

Here's Glenn's nephew, quite keen on checking out the local facilities at Daws Hill House.
