I thought I would relay an odd little encounter on Davidstow Moor last night (15 Feb 13). I was out for a run on the field when I stopped to rest for a few moments. As I looked into the grass there stood a little brown mongrel dog with a red collar. We both looked at each other and I noted that there was no cars or other people anywhere in sight. There were lots of sheep about who were not taking any notice of the dog. After a short time the little dog ran off across the field and I lost sight of it. I'm not saying there was anything spooky about the event (or was there) it was just a little odd as to why the dog was out on his own so far from anywhere. I will let you make up your own mind.
