Hut 12 at the Park was also known as the UNCLE SAM HUT where OSS could read redacted communications that came out of the place that did not exist. It was not located at BP but would be at Ditchley Park when the prime minister was in residence for DD planning etc. So there may have been an UNCLE connection with Milton Keynes before the MK we know existed. I was told that all of the remote HUT 12 & 13 documentation went through the grinder and was burnt on site at the end of hostilities.

According to Kernowcam it is a University project to do with the weather.

The only decent surface we could find up there a couple of weeks ago was the old Hangar floor (my daughter wanted to have a go at driving my car).
This seemed in remarkably good condition.

I expect hangar floors had a standard to adhere to for taking he weight of heavy bombers and was of very good quality. Also I expect they had to be level and flat. There is probably a specification in some dusty file hidden under some digestive biscuit crumbs.

If I remember correctly, the RSP for Davidstow Moor had T2 to drawing 8271/40 (which is actually the drawing for the gable sheeting specifications not the general drawing of a T2). The foundation plans for the T2 are 8259/40

The latest wind farm application for Davidstow is for 16 turbines each at 130 metres high to blade tip. Application closed for public comments on 4 October. Surprisingly MOD did not object, but 180+ public comments mostly negative-good!

How many other towers feature on record sleeves I wonder? Davidstow Moor seems to be the subject of the EP "Save Yourself" by the group Hiatus.
