This is just off junction 20 of the M1 at the Lutterworth turn. Also in Lutterworth, somewhere is or was a small bust to Sir Frank Whittle.

Nice pictures the company that work for made that memorial it's actually GRP with a steel framework we've done several of them I think another is at Farnborough.

I've been past it many times as our factory is only a few miles away from the memorial but I've never had time to stop and take pictures.

Such a cute little aeroplane. Made the Frog model of it back in the 60's.
It would made a great gate guard!!
