    Looks like an a/c taking off from the 36 runway - bottom left corner. You can see both it and its shadow.

    Nice set of pictures Steve, i see you visited the Bloodhound site too. This has to be one of the best preserved sites around, i'm unsure whether or not it's listed?

    Apparently a wwii machine gun was found in a pond here whilst it was being dredged. The "eighth in the east" project are looking at using it as prop in schools to teach wwii history.
