Are the the Spanghahlem based 'Hogs? I gather they are here for two weeks, is that right?

Sorry for the late reply Richard, if you haven't already found out , yes they are the Spangdahlem based Hogs, rumours vary on the deployment duration, could be until the 19th August.

Thanks for that, I am working all week so I doubt I'll be able to get there and see them. I saw them in 2007 when they were last over. Great aircraft

Now I know this was not an airshow but I did promise Stevie some A10's at The Heath as I know he has a soft spot for them.

Martlesham Heath Aviation society had a great visit to RAF Lakenheath on the 29th September 2011 Our main subject to see was the HH-60G Pave Hawk, but we also got some more including a visit to the control Tower. Although we had been there before the Tower is always an exciting place to be.

lol well it was made "sterile" but the fire detectors????
