    I had thought the old VHB tower had been demolished. Used to work there 1949/50

    Of the four VHBs built, at Marham, Lakenheath, Sculthorpe and West Raynham, all survive.
    Unfortunately I blieve Lakenheaths' example is sadly due for demolishon though. REF knows more about this.

    I'm a VHT kinda man, but even I must concede that the VHB would win hands down both in a beauty pagent and an arm wrestle match!

    On the controltowers.co.uk website it states that Heathrow also had a VHB tower.

    That is wrong, see the Heathrow and St Mawgan threads, it had a VHT. Robert Trumman is aware of this, but hasn't updated the site for a while.
