I wonder what happened to the sign? It wasn't something we saw 3 weeks agao when we were there, unless we missed it!

Is Perranpporth in the Lincolnshire Airfield Trail then

The format of the sign is very similar.

I took this photograph whilst on a weeks holiday in and around that area in 2004. The sign looks a bit worn so maybe they are only just re-placing it ? Also the prop' memorial was being re-furbished at that time, though i did get a photograph of what there was on show then.

Just been on holiday at Perranporth. A friend took me in to the tower and I saw the signs had just been refurbished. Will get some photos up soon.

Have been extolling the virtues of the site to an old mate (ex Chivenorite - pre 1974 and Mawganite) who lives locally in the hope that he will join the forum and post his photos of Perranporth and Mawgan.
