The attached link is the history section of the RSV website. It does describe the CW production side and the subsequent disposal of most of our produce. There is a section on FFDs and their demise.
We have lost 10,000 one thousand pound bombs which were manufactured at Randle in the 1950s and would welcome any help in locating them.

Last Sunday proved to be a great occasion. Present was Sir Eric Driver ( 98 ), the civil engineer responsible for building part of this and other sites during WWII. Lots of photos taken - here are just three.
Building P4 - intended for the production of Pyro mustard gas
Interior of Building R3 - one of two Runcol mustard production buildings. (The other was demolished due to contamination products)
A three-year old (approx) avidly watching the film showing how mustard was produced and loaded into shells for the Army.
Later the film showed 65lb LC bombs being charged with mustard, and transported to RAF Snaith. Here the bombs were fitted into SBCs in the station bomb dump before becoming part of 51 Sqn's Halifax bomb load. Absolutely fascinating stuff - however the three-year old had lost interest by this point so I guess she probably won't become a future member of AiX![]()

Just a few from Rhydymwyn taken during last week's EH-organised tour.

A few more...
As soon as I lay my hands on a site plan, I can properly identify things!
