That will be 12779/41 modified to 343/43 then!!
Looks like it had bigger windows at one point and then bricked up for smaller windows

Did the 12779/41 have bigger windows then Paul?
Yep take a look at East Kirby and Duxford. Most CTs of this type started out as 12779/41. Also take a look at the Audits - thats what they are there for!
If you go to my website www.pixture.co.uk you will find more images of Broadwell, including the wartime image that has been lifted from my site.
As a matter of interest, the western area of the airfield may be redeveloped as a caravan/touring site, so visit it now if you want photos etc.
Pete, do you require that photo removing? The AiX team are very keen that copyright is not infringed.

RAF Broadwell Wartime Photo Request
Dear all,
I'm presently in the process of drawing up a small article on the history of RAF Broadwell in Oxforshire. On the net, there seem to be very few pics of the base during it's operational life. Does anyone possess any they would be willing to share?
Many thanks
Steve
For current views:

Left hand menu - click Oxfordshire then Broadwell.
For WW2 views I'm sure that someone will give a pointer.
I've got an enormous post war aerial showing the entire airfield and post-war hospital and a copy of the AM site plan in my drawer.
What sort of "operational" pictures are you looking for? As it was used for Airborne/Glider ops and as a member of the GPRA I've probably got tons of photos in various books/magazine/journals but it would take forever to search them. If you give me something more specific I can probably help.
Thanks for the reply,
It doesn't necessarily need to be during or post war, what I'm really after are pics of either aircraft at the base or photographs of the buildings during it's 1943-47 operational life cycle
