AFAIK the Hengistbury(Southbourne) site was only used for that meeting - and possibly some casual use prior to WW1- although I've never seen factual proof anywhere.
Many early visiting flyers to the Bournemouth area may have used Kings Park - about 1.5 miles E of the town centre.
I believe you may be thinking of either Talbot Village (1915-1917) where there was a flying school (tho' not military)...or RFC Winton(Ensbury Park- the racecourse later) which operated 1918-19 with the WT School.
Ah! I am thinking of Southbourne (Emsworth), located close to Southbourne Halt near Chichester Harbour. This was an American TDS for training on HP machines. It was under construction at the end of WW1 - never occupied. Silly me!!
