Thanks Stevie.
There are two F/B pages...
https://www.facebook.com/groups/43961381801/ - Targeted at ex-employees of Bitteswell and associated companies
https://www.facebook.com/groups/389518461078327/ - For those that lived local and remember the airfield
Hi Rebbonk. I've just tried those two links but you have to join up and log into facebook to view them. I just get the 'you must log in' page coming up. The settings in the facebook accounts seem to be set up for facebook users only and not public unfortunatly. Thanks anyway mate.

Sorry Steve.
I'll continue to try to get relevant posts/pictures copied over here.
Hi rebbonk i have the same problem .Not keen on face book or twitter .So if you can get them on here that would be great .
I often pass Where Bitterswell airfield was .All those whearhouses it not the same !![]()
A few pictures of the ex-bitteswell AC Matador fuel bowser have surfaced on facebook.
If I can obtain permission to post, is there any interest?
Please !!
The fuel Bowser
These pictures were taken by Alan and Christine Green after they purchased/restored the fuel bowser, (c1982) and were passed to me by Rob Woodward of the "Who remembers Bitteswell airfield" facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/389518461078327/)
Please do not use them without asking first (I'll happily act as go between if anyone needs to make contact)
