    Thumbs up Re: Little Staughton

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I'd be most interested in visiting LS with permission........

The Robin hangar is not original. A Robin hangar did stand on the site in the seventies but was demolished and the present structure erected sometime in the eighties.

A few buildings that look to be in reasonable condition

"Robinson & Hall are pleased to offer Little America Industrial Estate which was the living accommodation for the former Little Staughton Airbase. Built during the Second World War, the brick buildings are now let commercially."

Hey don't forget this fuel tank! I must admit Little Staughton is a cracking airfield. Probably the best WW2 bomb dump I've seen. Many thanks to Steve for showing me around.

Hi Paul what an evocative shot there .It really captures the atmosphere of an old control tower . It looks as if they are going to renovate it. If so do you know what for ?

Sidney, great to hear from a WW2 RAF member who actually served at Little Staughton (albeit just post-war) but on other airfields during the war.

I trust that you are in good health and hope that you can post some more of your memories.
