Nice find Buccaneer, where abouts is it at Atcham?
The building is about here http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.69....5&r=0&src=msl it's marked No 61 on the plan that you sent me & there is also another building about here http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.69....5&r=0&src=msl it could be the remains of No 52 the flight offices a small ruined entrance is right next to the road but barbed wire & undergrowth defeated me.
There are the remains of an SAA store (I think) in the wood in the foreground of the nice aerial shot. On the edge of the wood, facing towards the dual carriageway, is a very overgrown pillbox. As I remember, it is not marked on the airfield plan.
Atcham Watch Office with Met Section. Date and photographer unknown
This airfield is just 3 miles from me,i had a look around last week, not much left though ,but found these on the net,

there should be a battle HQ here http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.68....2&r=0&src=msa and a seagull trench here http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.68....2&r=0&src=msa I didn't have time to search for them when I visited as most of my time was at Wroxeter.
This is the seagull trench http://www.pillbox-study-group.org.u...trenchpage.htm
