I believe the large building on the bottom half of that sign was the HQ of 92 Group.

St Laurence's church, Winslow, Bucks. Pilots Headstone in the church-garden, unseen on what is the foundation of this gravestone is the inscription to this pilots Brother-in-law. He was shot down and killed on a Berlin raid crashing, and being buried in France. Thats all we could make-out from the very faded wording. RFC Pilots plaque within the church. Plaque on the outside wall of the Royal British Leigon, fifty yards along from the church, Buckingham direction. Town sign. Would look better with a Wellington Bomber included.!!

Winslow Hall (used 11 May 1942 - 17 July 1945) - well spotted Garth.
Ah, you beat me to it!
Yes, well done Garth, I'll be over there later this week to get some photographs. Cheers![]()
I've known Winslow Hall was the HQ for 92 Group for years, but couldn't think of the name of it to save my life!
