MALTA - Ta Qali

I have just been to Malta and visited Ta Qali.....Sadly ( slap wrist for me) I didnt do any prep work as the visit to the museum happened on a crammed day of sightseeing on the isle!

As i hadnt prepped i found it hard to find an airfield was even as not a typical flat area here but 'visualised' it when I got my bearings...I saw lots of the ww2 nissan style buildings which are now used on the 'craft centre' area and visited the museum and saw the new hanger ( opened very recently)...Its a shame I didnt know about the cave/hillside shelters as that would have been great to see! Im sure this area has loads of bits still lurking...and probably a few UXBs !!
