This is amazing!!
All of you continue to amaze me with what you come up with.
Nothing remains of the HAA Battery and interestingly the picture shows a hut on the same side as the old U.S. Military Cemetry. - This is mentioned in the memorial stone that is at the gate pillare of the entrance to the cemetry.
This hut was used by the personel who maintained the cemetry.
The area where the black huts are is now housing and the path between the gun battery and buildings is raised to such an extent that I had thought there may have been a tunnel below.
The largest remaining building is the one immediately below this pathway.
You can clearly see the circular wall and smaller bricked sections where there remain large barrels. Between these and the buildings in the picture are some buried red bricked buildings which are now in ruins.
The original gate pillars remain.
Cracking stuff!!
